you also don't want to assign and play each downloaded clip to the AudioSource as soon as it is downloaded but rather wait until all of them are downloaded (or at least the first one, depending on your needs)
I am working on a Unity App being built for iOS and Android devices. In my app I am fetching a url from a web service and that url is for an audio file (.mp3) which I am downloading and saving in the app. Below is code for the same.
This code works perfectly in my Android and iPhone devices but on the client's Samsung S9, the audio file is not getting downloaded.Audio file is getting created in S9 but the file size is only around 6 KB while the original audio file is around 5 MB.
Now in the code you can see a url commented out.When I use the commented url then the audio download works in S9 too.So I was suspecting this to be some ip related issue but the client tried on various wifi networks but it didn't worked for him.
Im pretty sure i just can't download the Audiofile from a youtube link it self, but i need a direct link to the video instead. Does anyone know how to do that? Without making the players having to lots of stuff themselves, such as downloading then converting etc?
WWW can't download random YouTube vids and play them back. WWW can fetch audio clips, but they need to be in a format that Unity understands, which, as the docs say, means Ogg or Wav. Movies must be in Ogg Theora format.
I think i understood it so far, but is it a way to make the youtube link a direct link like common .ogg links. I just think it would be a hassle if players had to download the youtube video for themself, then convert it to ogg, then upload it to a webserver, then be able to use their link in-game. If there is no real way then i guess it'll just have to do. But i am pretty sure mp3 files are capable for playback, or maybe that is only on IOS.

Call Management > System Call Handlers and then clicking on my individual greeting, I see the upload arrow and download arrow, but when I go to download it, it says "no file to download" even though I know it's there. When I try to upload to another greeting I build, it does nothing. I hit save after a while and it says "contract administrator".
Did you manage to resolve this? I have the exact same issue. I don't think it is due to Unity Connection coz my colleague can download the file. The difference between me and my colleague is laptop. We logged in using different laptop but with the same login ID and same version of Internet Explorer. Can anyone share what laptop configuration needed i.e. Java, Security level etc?
